2016 - Paris, Normandy, Amsterdam
This trip was an education-filled bus tour of Normandy.
We started in Paris and trekked northward to the Normandy coast. Touring the WWII and WWI sites in France, Belgium, and finally ending in Amsterdam.
We toasted our fallen brothers with a shot of Screech, and climbed through trenches, bunkers, beaches, graveyards and museums.
Lessons:
Don't get stuck outside the hotel at 3 am when you have to pee. Don't get stuck in an elevator when you have to pee. And definitely, don't swim barefoot with the swans.
